Daigneault Group is a family holding company. We buy small operating businesses and real assets, build new ones, and hold both permanently, running them on modern systems rather than heroics.

What we are
Most acquirers are renting your business for five years. We are not one of them. Daigneault Group buys cash-generating businesses and real assets, keeps the people, writes down how the work is actually done, and leaves it running for the next generation to inherit.
We also build. Some of what we own did not exist before we started it, and it gets held on the same terms as everything we buy.
The discipline is unglamorous and it is the whole edge: underwrite conservatively, use leverage you can service in a bad year, install measurement before ambition, and never buy something you would be embarrassed to explain at dinner.

Pray and work. Fifteen hundred years ago the Benedictines wrote down a rule for ordinary days and built institutions that are still standing. That is the operating model we've adopted, and what our organization will run on in perpetuity.

The buy box
Small enough that we can actually run it, large enough to matter.
Asset-backed or contract-backed. Low labor intensity. Durable demand.
A retiring owner who wants the work they built to keep running, in good hands, for a very long time.
